The Coastal Georgia Buccaneers are proud to tip off its first home game on Saturday, March 23, 2024. We are offering the Chambers and members of the press the opportunity to meet the team’s staff and players on Thursday, March 21, at the Tiger Arena on the Savannah State University campus. The professional basketball team was founded in 2022 and competes in the Atlantic Southeast Division of The Basketball League (the TBL). The team’s mission is to provide high-quality entertainment and community engagement to Savannah and the Coastal Georgia region.

Mobility City of Savannah will be celebrating its Grand Opening on Wednesday, March 27, at its new Savannah location. Our primary focus is to help seniors, veterans, and the disabled – both young and old – stay mobile and independent and maintain their quality of life. We provide repairs, rentals, and sales of various mobility equipment, from wheelchairs to bathroom safety accessories and even power items, such as scooters, lift chairs, and hospital beds. Our goal is to keep our clients living their lives to the fullest by not letting mobility challenges shut them down. We provide our service work either in your home or at our store, wherever we are needed. Our rentals can be delivered or picked up in the store; again, it’s all about what our customers need. And lastly, our new showroom is filled with mobility devices that will keep our clients mobile and independent.
