Visit Savannah proudly announces the launch of its groundbreaking initiative, the “Surprisingly Savannah” Mobile Tour. This innovative marketing endeavor promises to captivate audiences across 12 cities nationwide, delivering an immersive experience showcasing Savannah’s charms like never before.
The “Surprisingly Savannah” Mobile Tour is designed to engage with communities in each location by offering interactive experiences highlighting Savannah’s rich culture, cuisine, entertainment, and more. Upon arrival in each tour city, the customized tour vehicle transforms into a multi-station setup featuring a variety of enjoyable activities. Attendees can sample local Savannah treats, enjoy live music, experience fun photo ops, and engage with Visit Savannah team members who will provide personalized insights and assistance.
The official debut of the “Surprisingly Savannah” Mobile Tour took place this past weekend during the 200th anniversary of the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Angela Westerfield, Chief Marketing Officer for Visit Savannah, expressed her excitement about the launch, stating, “What better occasion to kick off this tour than amidst the vibrant festivities of Savannah’s cherished St. Patrick’s Day Parade? This launches our tour amongst our friends and neighbors, celebrating our beloved destination in an utterly unique way.”
With its engaging activities and personalized touch, the “Surprisingly Savannah” MobileTour aims to showcase the best of Savannah to audiences nationwide, inviting them to experience the city’s magic firsthand.
Additionally, Visit Savannah will partner with the Savannah Economic Development Authority, conducting workforce recruitment in some of the twelve cities. This approach allows the organizations to join forces to maximize their time in each market and support Savannah and Chatham County’s economic vitality in multiple ways.
The “Surprisingly Savannah” Mobile Tour is free to experience and welcomes all. The tour will stop at specific locations in each city, and those dates and locations will be announced later.
