Visit Savannah’s PR team, Erica Backus and Tanvi Chauhan welcomed four international journalists for a familiarization Tour (FAM) of our destination last week. Travel South vetted invited international media to participate in the ‘Georgia Gems’ tour, featuring Savannah and Tybee Island. Writers and editors flew in from across the globe, including Denmark, England, and Brazil. Visit Savannah diligently worked with our partners to welcome our friends from across the sea and offer our cities’ distinguished culinary, entertainment, historical, and cultural experiences. Their enthusiasm was palpable as they expressed their eagerness to return, even going so far as to pledge to sport their “SAV” caps upon their next visit!
