Savannah Cabaret – Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein Opening Night

Join us at 6 p.m. for a ribbon cutting celebrating Savannah Cabaret’s Opening Night of “Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein,” including a sneak peek of a pop-up museum honoring Mel Brooks’ career and the 50th Anniversary of the classic movie “Young Frankenstein.” Rick Garman with Savannah Cabaret will be on hand to cut the ceremonial Ribbon and offer guests the opportunity to learn about the theatre group, upcoming shows, and the memorabilia! Ribbon-cutting guests who choose to purchase a ticket to the show in advance online will be invited to a pre-show cocktail hour beginning at 7 p.m. with interactive entertainment. The show will begin at 8 p.m. Those in attendance for the ribbon cutting will not be required to purchase tickets to the show if they choose not to.

 

Goodwill Southeast Georgia – Berwick Store

Join us for a community ribbon-cutting event as Goodwill Southeast Georgia unveils its Berwick retail store’s refreshed look and ambiance on Thursday, April 25. Goodwill Southeast Georgia empowers individuals to realize their full potential through education, skills training, and employment opportunities. The sale of gently used items at our 15 retail stores supports this mission, funding our five Opportunity Centers. Last year, over 3,300 individuals received job training and placement services, with 432 securing employment at companies across southeast Georgia through Goodwill’s efforts. In 2024, Goodwill Southeast Georgia has already assisted 1,221 individuals at its Opportunity Centers.
