Visit Savannah Partially Reopens Visitor Centers

Closed since the beginning of the pandemic outbreak in March, Visit Savannah is partially reopening its Visitor Centers, in a modified fashion. The River Street location will have personnel staffed from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting now through December.

Help Welcome Our Soldiers Home by Supporting the USO

As our heroes abroad return home to Fort Stewart, military protocols require those soldiers to quarantine for 14 days before returning to duty. The USO in coordination with the Army is working to ensure that all soldiers returning to the barracks return to a comfortable space with basic living essentials. Your donation to the USO can help ensure the more than 1,200 soldiers returning home in 2020 receive a warm welcome.

2020 Census Update - Deadline Extended to October 31

Last week a federal judge ordered that the 2020 Census count continue until October 31. Census employees in Chatham County will continue to collect information through the end of the month. To read more about to census extension or to complete your census on line, click here.
