The Chamber’s 2021 Economic Outlook luncheon will take place at the Savannah Convention Center on February 3, 2021 at noon, where members will hear the economic forecast for the upcoming year. Georgia Southern University’s Mike Toma and Fuller E. Callaway, Professor of Economics will provide the local outlook. Dr. Toma will also present the state and national forecasts for Dr. Benjamin Ayers of the Terry College of Business for the University of Georgia. Attendees will also receive the 2021 Economic Trends booklet, which will include their predictions in long form.

Jeffrey presented on the topic of “Everything Old is New Again: Post Election Business Succession Planning.” This presentation reviewed the current estate tax, changes proposed by the new administration, and possible strategies to minimize those taxes.
