CEMA Alerts are Changing

Chatham Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) is in the process of switching vendors for our CEMA Alert System. Beginning Monday, April 26 emails from CEMA Alert will come from a different email account. If you also receive text messages from CEMA Alert on your phone, you will notice a change in the phone number on April 26 as well. Text messages from this new system can come from a few different numbers, but all messages will be clearly marked as CEMA Alerts. Although the system they are using is changing, the content of the messages will remain the same. CEMA will continue to send emergency notifications for all of Chatham County. If you would like to continue getting these emails and/or text messages, you will need to create a new account on Rave Alert by clicking here.

Or, you can text CEMA to 77295 to just register for text messages. This will need to be done before Tuesday, June 1 if you would like to continue receiving messages. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please call 912-201-4500.
