Longtime community and Chamber leader Ed Feiler, a founding member of Leadership Savannah, passed last week at age 86. After Leadership Savannah reformed in 1975, Feiler served as the organization’s first president, promoting diversity and building relationships across communities that embraced different races, religions, and gender. Ed Feiler loved Savannah, and he loved fostering the growth and development of future community leaders even more. Leadership Savannah has named an endowed scholarship after Mr. Feiler to provide a one-time tuition contribution to a deserving applicant in honor of his life’s work.
