Enmarket Savannah River Bridge Run Returns to Celebrate 30 Years of Running

Runners from across the region tackled the Talmadge Bridge last Saturday in what’s known as one of the South’s most challenging bridge runs. More than 3,000 runners ran or walked the 5k, 10k, and the Double Pump, which is twice over the bridge and back. “ Due to COVID concerns in 2020, we took the Enmarket Savannah River Bridge Run virtual,” said Rob Well, director of the Savannah Sports Council. “This race was the perfect way to celebrate 30 years of running in our community with athleats who have a passion for the sport and Savannah.”
