At this lunchtime networking opportunity, participants will begin their meal with an appetizer course and networking with the people at their table. Then, after 20 minutes, rotate to another table to enjoy their entrée with another group. Finally, a third rotation will bring them to the third group of peers to enjoy a final course of coffee and dessert while they talk about who they are and what they do. After three rotations and a full meal, each attendee will leave with business cards from new potential clients and partners.

Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli paid an in-person visit to Allegiant Airlines' world headquarters while attending the PCMA convention in Las Vegas last week. Several items were discussed, including current success levels at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, potential new non-stop routes into Savannah, collaborative marketing and promotion, and future growth.

Visit Savannah is currently running a digital advertising campaign to drive travelers to visit Savannah during the winter season. This campaign will run through March 6, 2022. The media campaign will include 17.5 million banner ad impressions in Savannah's top feeder markets. We need your help to convert these impressions to visitation! All hospitality partners are encouraged to submit a compelling special offer for consideration to be included in this campaign. Offers MUST incentivize winter travel.

At last week's Visit Savannah Board of Directors meeting, Pitpal Singh of Left Lane Development passed the gavel to Corey Jones of Lucky Savannah Vacation Rentals for the 2022 chairmanship. Singh took on the role of Board Chair in 2020 and stayed on through 2021 to help guide the organization through tourism's rebound post-pandemic.

Pamela shared valuable information to over 150 attendees about creating content for social media, best practices for sharing across platforms, and tips and tricks for simple SEO actions that anyone can implement on their website to increase organic search results.

The Chamber’s 2022 Economic Outlook luncheon took place at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Result & Spa, where around 700 members gathered to hear the economic forecast for the upcoming year. Georgia Southern University’s Mike Toma provided the regional outlook, and Dr. Benjamin Ayers gave a forecast for Georgia and the nation.
