The Historic Savannah Foundation Celebrates Grand Openings

On Thursday, April 28, the Historic Savannah Foundation, along with city leaders, foundation volunteers, local supporters, Visit Savannah and the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the grand opening of the Murray C. Pearlman & Wayne C. Spear Preservation Center and the restoration of the Kennedy Pharmacy.

Located at 323 E. Broughton Street, the Kennedy Pharmacy serves as the new gift shop for the historic Davenport House Museum and is open to the public. The Murray C. Pearlman & Wayne C. Spear Preservation Center is located directly next door.

May is Historic Preservation Month and the Historic Savannah Foundation, along with Savannah’s historic homes like the Davenport House Museum, is launching month-long events to help celebrate and spread awareness. To learn more, visit myhsf.org.
