Chamber’s Small Business and Events Manager Attends ‘Black in Business’

Last week Conni Reynolds, Small Business and Events Manager, attended ‘Black in Business’ at Savannah State University – a celebratory and informative event about entrepreneurship in the Black community.  The event was presented by the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce, SCORE, Truist Bank, Savannah Technical College, and Savannah State University.

The evening saw about 100 attendees who were delighted to hear the many moving stories shared by small business owners of color. They shared awe-inspiring personal journeys of their start-ups, as well as the struggles and triumphs they faced in the process. The event relayed a fruitful message to all other business entrepreneurs in the audience of hope and perseverance.

Pictured here is Savannah city Mayor, Van Johnson who delivered the opening remarks for the event.
