InternSAV Event Unites Nationwide Talent at Starland Yard
 
The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a successful InternSAV event at Starland Yard, drawing over 150 interns from 53 colleges nationwide, all working for more than 50 different Savannah-based businesses. This event provided a valuable opportunity for these interns to network, build connections, and experience the unique culture of Savannah. The evening featured talks from Sam McCachern of Thomas and Hutton and Mark Bennett of Gulfstream, who discussed the dynamic career opportunities available in the city, encouraging interns to consider Savannah for their future professional growth. Chamber Hosts Georgia Council on Literacy Meeting 
 
The Savannah Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a pivotal meeting of the Georgia Council on Literacy in our boardroom, where key literacy challenges were identified and strategic plans to address them were developed. The session featured Malcolm Mitchell, former UGA football player and NFL athlete, and CEO & Founder of the Share the Magic Foundation, who shared his insights on the transformative power of reading and the importance of community and family involvement in literacy initiatives.
