Chamber Hosts Industry Council Lunch and Learn in Partnership with Greater Georgia

Last week, the Savannah Area Chamber’s Industry Council hosted an educational lunch-and-learn at Savannah Technical College in partnership with Greater Georgia as part of a statewide tour. The event gave members a chance to learn more details about the tort reform package passed by the Georgia General Assembly and what it impact it could have on businesses across our region.

A big thank you to our local elected officials State Senator Ben Watson and State Representative Carl Gilliard for attending and sharing their valuable insights. We were also honored to welcome Representative James Burchett to the discussion. Read more ▶

GDOT Releases Updated Schedule For Chatham Parkway Bridge Closure
 
GDOT has released an updated schedule relative to the planned 20 day Chatham Parkway Bridge closure over I-16. Weather permitting, complete closure is scheduled to start at 9p.m., Friday, June 20 continuing for approximately 20 days. Read more ▶
