Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce Celebrates National Small Business Week
Festivities kicked off on Monday, May 5, with an Owner’s Council luncheon featuring a legislative wrap up discussion with local delegation. Throughout the week, community partners will host a variety of events including the Mayor’s Small Business Conference, the State of Small Business, the always-popular Reverse Trade Show at the Civic Center, and the return of Small Business Gives Back Day on Thursday with a Broughton Street clean up. The celebration will wrap up with Shop Small Weekend, encouraging everyone to shop local and show support for our community’s entrepreneurs. Read more ▶

Savannah Convention Center Opens Expansion
Governor Brian Kemp, along with the Savannah-Georgia Convention Center Authority and other local leaders celebrated to grand opening of the newly expanded Savannah Convention Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week. The Destination Celebration is a professional networking and promotional event for meeting planners and event organizers.
