Last week, the Chamber hosted its popular Business on the Move event at Old Fort Jackson. Guests were treated to musket and cannon firing demonstrations while exchanging business cards and networking with other Chamber members. Chamber networking events are intended to provide opportunities for members to build relationships with their fellow members during a time of day that is convenient for them.

Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli, and Senior National Sales Manager Jen Thompson hit the road last week with the “Joe and Jen Road Show.” They crisscrossed the state visiting several annual state association clients such as Southeast Fruit & Vegetable Association, Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, Georgia Hospital Association, and more to keep Savannah front-of-mind as the groups consider their plans for future years.

The Visit Savannah and Savannah Convention Center sales teams partnered up to attend the Connect Marketplace appointments show and tradeshow. Over the three-day live event in Orlando last week. The team meet with over 215 meeting planners representing groups and associations like, School Safety, Advocacy Council, Pediatric Pharmacy Association and Farmers Insurance and Kiwanis Club International.
