December 6 Deadline Approaching for Leadership Savannah Applications

The December 6 application deadline for the 2022 Leadership Savannah Class is coming fast! Submit your application now for the one-year program, which will be limited to 42 people. The selections committee seeks representation from a cross-section of the community, including those active in business, education, the arts, religion, government, community-based organizations, and ethnic and minority groups that reflect the community’s diversity. Applicants must have the full support of the organization or corporation they represent.

You’re invited to join the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Holiday Oyster Roast Business Connection! We’ll be roasting bushels of fresh, local oysters Thursday, December 2 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. around the Christmas Tree at Broughton Street and Bull Street in celebration of the holiday season. Georgia Chamber Hosts Virtual Event on December 3 | Addressing the Labor Shortage through Second Chance Hiring

Joseph Marinelli Joins U.S. Travel Association Board

Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli was confirmed as a new board member of the U.S. Travel Association (USTA) in Washington, DC, last week in front of a gathering of national tourism executives. Marinelli will serve a three-year term alongside fellow state tourism executives, Atlanta CVB CEO William Pate, and Mark Jaronski, Deputy Commissioner of Georgia Tourism.
