Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce

LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN

I hope the New Year finds you full of optimism and resolve, ready to take advantage of the opportunities 2022 holds. Your Chamber will continue its commitment to support local businesses by championing a pro-business culture at the local, regional, state, and national levels.

We have an ever-growing, diverse membership that includes representatives from all sectors of our local economy. From the port, manufacturing, and distribution centers to military, healthcare, and education, the Savannah area draws new businesses. Our tourism and hospitality members continue to break records as word of Savannah’s charm and opportunity reaches ever further worldwide. Our small business community makes up approximately 80% of businesses in our economy, so offering events and services that support these businesses is a Chamber priority.

I want to personally thank you for your membership and encourage you to maximize the many benefits your Chamber membership offers. Your membership gives you exclusive access to networking events and professional development opportunities throughout the year. By attending our informational events like the Economic Outlook Luncheon on January 20th, you will hear how our economy is doing, what is on the horizon, and how it will likely affect your business.

In February, we will head to Atlanta for Savannah Chatham Day as part of our state advocacy efforts to ensure that Savannah remains top-of-mind at the capital.

Be sure to check our calendar of events regularly and join us as we network, build relationships, celebrate grand openings and the economic growth they represent. Signing up to receive this newsletter with upcoming events is the best way not to miss a thing!

Now it’s time to get busy, support our local businesses, and work together to make 2022 the best year yet for doing business in Savannah!

Many thanks,

Allyson Harvin, Chamber Chairman
Owner
SERVPRO of Savannah
