This popular Chamber event welcomes more than 500 members and guests for an afternoon of business networking. Join as an exhibitor by registering for booth space today! Booths are available starting at $395, with various sponsorship opportunities offered. Each booth includes one 6-foot table with two chairs and a wastebasket. Internet and access to power are available at an additional cost. Members are encouraged to sell products and services from your Expo booth.

The event starts with 30 minutes of open networking followed by participants giving their best 10-15 second “elevator pitch” about themselves and their company. More networking follows, allowing members to build those personal and professional contact lists valuable for professional growth.

Join us for Business on the Move at Junior Achievement Colonial Group Discovery Center. Businesses located in the Savannah area, such as Chick-fil-A, Enmarket, and Publix will be offering hands-on financial literacy and budgeting experiences for students in the community. This is a lovely opportunity for young students to cultivate useful knowledge before stepping into the business world. So, come along for an evening marked with educational conversations coupled with drinks and light refreshments!

Members of the Coastal Georgia Military Affairs Coalition are meeting in Washington DC this week to discuss the Air National Guard’s recent decision to eliminate the funding for the Georgia Combat Readiness Training Center (GA CRTC). The GA CRTC and the 165th Air Lift Wing at the Air National Guard base are located at the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport.

The Chamber hosted more than 50 members and member guests at Merchants on the Bee for Business on the Move. The venue featured work of over 100 vendors and craftspeople ranging from custom furniture, pottery, and antiques, to jewelry and handmade décor. Craftsmanship filled the ambiance as members and their guests shared light refreshments while discovering unique finds. It was a pleasant time for networking and appreciating local artisanship.

Visit Savannah leaders Joseph Marinelli and Angela Westerfield hosted international travel buyers from Germany at the IPW Conference in Orlando, FL on Sunday. They, along with Jeff Hewitt and Mindy Shea have sales appointments with approximately 200 travel buyers from around the world this week.

Community Advisers serve as volunteer mentors to students in the Student Leadership Program (SLP). All mentoring in SLP is facilitated at SLP events and in a group setting with other teachers and community advisers. Serving as a community advisor is a rewarding experience not only because of the opportunity to network with fellow SLP advisers from the community, but mainly the difference your guidance can make to younger lives.

A heart-warming reunion was witnessed at the MLK Savannah Visitor Center. Two life-long friends residing thousands of miles apart reunited in Savannah. Bonnie Huggins of Jacksonville, FL and Karen Lech of Lockport, NY, were seen sharing their love for the city and creating new memories as they explored the new offerings and memorabilia at the Center.

First Impression Specialists from Savannah and Tybee Island were joined by Welcome Center employees in a visit to the new Enmarket Arena. Derek Goldfarb, Director of Partnerships, gave an overview tour of the arena, highlighting many food and beverage vendors. In line with the digitalizing age, he added that the Enmarket Arena is a cashless payment facility.
