Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce

Incoming Remarks from New President & CEO, Bert Brantley

Well, Savannah really knows how to throw a welcome party!

I am thrilled to begin my service to the membership and staff of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce. These next few years have the potential to be an era of incredible opportunity in our Coastal Region, and our commitment here at the Chamber is to ensure that prosperity extends to every part of our community. From the expansion at the Savannah Convention Center to major projects at the Georgia Ports Authority, along with significant private sector investments happening across the region, the Savannah area will play an outsized role in the continued success of our state.

I also want to take a moment to sincerely thank Bill Hubbard for his amazing career at the Chamber. His legacy will continue to live on, and all of us here wish him nothing but all the best as he enjoys retirement.

Lastly, I would like to thank you for your continued investment in the Chamber as we continue to be the voice for our businesses, foster cooperative partnerships, and enhance our members' success.

We hope you enjoy this week's newsletter, and I look forward to seeing you at a Chamber event soon!

Bert Brantley
President & CEO
