Savannah Welcomes 2,600+ Runners for 10th Publix Women’s Half Marathon & 5K Celebration!

Over the weekend, the Savannah Sports Council hosted over 2,600 enthusiastic runners from across the country for the 10th edition of the Publix Savannah Women's Half Marathon and 5K. The festivities kicked-off with a pre-race fashion and fitness expo sponsored by Brooks at the Charles Morris Center on Friday. On Saturday, participants were treated to impeccable weather conditions for the half marathon, 5K races, and post-race party in Forsyth Park. Read more

Visit Savannah, Club Car, and The Landings Golf & Athletic Club marked their national television debut as the official broadcast partner of the 2024 Club Car Championship at Deer Creek this past weekend. Throughout the 4-day broadcast, viewers were treated to commercials and digital billboards showcasing our destination, airing more than 50 times. Read more

International Journalists Gather in Savannah for Travel South’s Pre-Familiarization Tour

Visit Savannah’s PR team, Erica Backus and Tanvi Chauhan welcomed four international journalists for a familiarization Tour (FAM) of our destination last week. Travel South vetted invited international media to participate in the ‘Georgia Gems’ tour, featuring Savannah and Tybee Island. Writers and editors flew in from across the globe, including Denmark, England, and Brazil. Read more 

Visit Savannah Wins eTSY Award at eTourism Summit

Lauren Cleland, Visit Savannah Vice President of Strategic Marketing, had the honor of addressing industry leaders at the eTourism Summit in Las Vegas. As a panelist, Cleland shared invaluable insights into the integration of artificial intelligence in the tourism sector.
