Last week, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Eggs & Issues legislative breakfast where the 2023 state legislative agenda and key pro-business policies were presented.
Held at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront, more than 300 attendees enjoyed networking with the local business community and elected officials. The breakfast featured the Chatham County legislative delegation members who spoke about their goals for the upcoming year.

This event will debut at the Enmarket Arena on January 13 and 14 featuring four of the South's most popular collegiate club hockey teams. Visit Savannah’s Director of Midwest Sales, Kellie Linder, attended Holiday Showcase in Chicago last week. Joining Linder was Chamber member Maura O’Donnell with Ethos Event Collective. They both had one-on-one appointments with meeting planners and represented Savannah at an exhibit booth.

Last Saturday, Savannah Sports Council held the annual Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run. Known as “The South’s Toughest Bridge Run,” the race challenged runners to choose between 5K, 10K, and a double pump over the city’s Talmadge Bridge. There was also a costume contest with awards given to the most creative person or group.

Last Week, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its inaugural Business Resource Lunch that brought together various business associations of the community at the same table. The goal of this event was to empower our community’s Spanish-speaking business owners with the resources they need to help their business community be successful. The chamber plans to hold these events in the future for other community business partners.

Last Thursday evening, the Chamber hosted its annual Holiday Oyster Roast Business Connection. Bushels of fresh, local oysters were roasted and enjoyed around the Christmas Tree at Broughton Street and Bull Street.
